Study Tour in Prishtina Region
In our mission to boost sustainable efforts among business operations in Kosovo, four professionals from the Diaspora, with diverse backgrounds covering the sustainability and environmental sectors, joined us on a three-day study visit with local businesses across Kosovo.
We started the first day of the study visit in the Pristina region, with the first stop at Elen, which is a private company that offers design services and products in the sectors of solar energy, energy storage, electronical energy, electronics & IT, and Smart Homes.
Mr. Drin Syla, Business Development Manager at this company welcomed the Diaspora Professionals along with the staff of SLK. During the co-conversation, he explained their business organization, the services and products they offer, and at the same time their plans for expanding their market.
We then continued the visit to Front, a local business of interior and exterior materials. Executive Director, Mr.Jeton Veseli, along with the board of managers, welcomed us for a visit to their work premise, and in addition, they told us more about their products, services, sustainability goals, and long-term plans.
These visits gave our diaspora professionals the opportunity to understand more about the strategies, goals and business operations of these enterprises and opened the doors for further cooperation in the future.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, with the aim of integrating the diaspora community with the local community by offering them a place for education and cooperation.
